TITUS RESEARCH FOUNDATION
Brief Overview

The Titus Research Foundation was formed in 2002 by Dr. Stuart W. Titus. The purpose of t he Foundation is to research and develop new methods of healing the human body and improving the human condition, primarily through low-level (Micro Current) electrical intervention. Initially organized in South Carolina, we have received a grant from the Harmony Education Center in Waynesville, NC which allows our activities to continue.
To date Titus Research Foundation operates in both North and South Carolina.

After years of research we have developed some enhanced Micro Current equipment. Our goal is to get equipment into Long Term Care facility sites around the nation to prove success with many commonly seen conditions: wound care, contractures, osteoporosis, diabetic & peripheral neuropathy, post-surgical intervention and tissue atrophy conditions. We are presently researching the necessary requirement for getting Micro Current devices fully FDA approved so that larger-scale medical marketing can take place. Initial tests with FDA conforming technology and unique treatment application techniques have proven a significant success. We hope to be able to expand upon this.

Past research had shows both safety and efficacy of this low level electrical stimulation. There have been numerous studies on wound care and how this intervention accelerates healing of open wounds. Other research has won Nobel Prizes by two groups looking at how to gain a better access through the cell's membrane - in terms of nutrient absorption and waste product departure. Others have shown significant healing of non-union long bone fractures with the application of this Micro Current stimulation - many athletes have used this for injury rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement. Many credit a significant lengthening of their careers through use of these Micro Current devices.

Future studies on wound care, diabetic and peripheral neuropathy, back pain, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis all would be good candidates. More importantly, it is believed that this type of intervention may lead to the acceptance of newly transplanted organs by the host, so that immuno-supressant medications may be gradually weaned. Others postulate that certain diseased portions of internal organs may be surgically removed and then grown back by the body through this intervention. Implantable technologies may work well for any post-surgical application as it seems to keep incision scar tissue under control and get people through physical therapy quicker and with less pain and discomfort.
tronomer.

If you would like to give a tax deductable donation to our research fund we would greatly appreciate it. For full details please email Dr. Titus at info@healusnow.com
